The department of Electronics and communication engineering was established in 1981 with a bachelor’s course having an intake of 15 students, which has increased to 90 over the period of time. The department is running M.Tech course in Electronics and Communication engineering (both Full time and Part time), and M.Tech VLSI Design (Part Time). The department is accredited by NBA and has excellent facilities including well equipped laboratories, departmental library, online access to the latest journals including IEEE and Science Direct, exclusive departmental computing facilities with 60 computers and EDA tools and a fledgling consultancy. The students of department are placed in reputed companies through campus placement and have achieved professional excellence over the world.
