The First event of the session 2010-2011, “SPELL BEE” was held on 26th August 2010. The event aimed at testing and improving the vocabulary and comprehension ability of the students. The first round comprised of a written test of synonyms and rearranging correctly the jumbled words. The qualified ones moved to next level. The second round was Spell Check. The participants had to spell out puzzling words. Er.Arvind Dhingra, Faculty In-charge, SCIE and Prof.Surmeet Singh, Applied Science Dept were present as Judges in the event. The response by the students, especially the first year, was overwhelming. The event was a great success.
