Industry cell of the institute is functioning primarily to promote industry – institute coordinated approach to solve industrial problems mainly of MSME units of the region by involving industrial personnel, faculty, staff and students of undergraduate, post graduate and research programs of the institute from all disciplines. It is providing a common platform for sharing and working on their scientific, engineering and technologically viable, innovative, sustainable and unique acceptable solutions for day to day problems. This coordinated approach of Industry Cell is giving numerous opportunities to the students by working on latest industrial equipment & software to upgrade their knowledge as per their interest to work on live industry problems and provide affordable solutions to the industries. The Industry Cell is forming the teams consisting of the industrial personnel, faculty, staff and students to achieve the targets within stipulated time. It is also monitoring the operations of teams; provide requisite additional guidance and arranging resources & facilities needed.
To promote scientific, engineering and technologically viable, innovative, sustainable and unique acceptable low cost and affordable solutions for day to day problems.
To provide the locally available scientific, engineering and technical help to the industry to cater and cope up with the futuristic market scenario.
To facilitate the faculty, staff and students to have sustainable linkage with the industry.
To provide a platform to students to inculcate entrepreneurship for their dream projects.
To facilitate the industrial training and academic projects of students in liaison with Training & Placement Cell and Departments.
To work on collaborated and funded projects of various national and international agencies/industries/ governments to promote and develop futuristic sustainable technologies.
To encourage regionally available resources to cater the needs of the industries for sustainable markets.
