POST-MATRIC SCHOLARSHIP & REFUND OF FEE TO BE SCHEDULED CASTES STUDENTS FOR DEGREE SESSION 2010-11.
SC/SS-2011/1046 dt. 07.04.2011
Govt. of India has increased the Annual Family Income Limit for SC Scholarship from Rs.1.00 Lac to 2.00 Lac from the year 2010-11. The students whose parents income does not exceed Rs.2.00 Lac per annum are eligible to fill the SC Scholarship forms.

SCHEDULED CASTES/TRIBES students are direct to submit application Forms for the award of Post-Matric Scholarship & Tuition Fee duly completed in Academics Branch by 22-4-2011.Blank application forms can be obtained from Academics Branch office between 11.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. & 3.00 P.M. to 4.00 P.M. Scholarship form can also be downloaded from College website.

IMPORTANT NOTE: THE STUDENTS WHO HAVE ALREADY FILLED THEIR SCHOLARSHIP FORMS; THEIR FATHER IS NOT ALIVE AND THEIR FAMILY ANNUAL INCOME CERTIFICATE IS GIVEN BY THEIR MOTHER ,ARE DIRECTED TO SUBMIT DEATH CERTIFICATE OF THEIR FATHER. THESE INSTRUCTIONS ARE ALSO APPLICABLE FOR RENEWAL CASES.

It has been noticed by the undersigned that some students has filled their Examination Forms (Regular) on PTU On-line (Without Late Fee) upto 05.04.2010, but they have not submitted their Examination Form with receipt of Fee with Student Section till date. Students are directed to submit their Examination Fee immediately by 13.04.2010 positively, otherwise they will not be eligible to appear in the Examination to be held in May/June,2010.

Step-1 If you did not receive your UserID and Password from your institute, then you must contact your institute for your UserID and Password.
Step-2 Login into your Account at www.ptuexam.com .When you enter in your account then you have to click on Regular Exam. Form for May-2010 as show below:-

Step-3 Now you have entered the next Window that is Examination Form, where you have to find Section-A as show right:-

Step-4 Now you have to Select the Subjects in which you want to appear by Clicking the checkbox in Internal as well as External as show right:-

After this you have to click the Button as show below:-


Step-5 The details of submitted Subjects have been added to Section-B as shown below
Step-6 Now you have to Click on
Step-7 Specimen Print of Examination Form is shown as below
Note:- (1)Then you must verify your Personal Details and Subjects in the Printed Examination form. If you find the details to be correct, then must submit your form to your Institute after signing the form and pasting your Colored-Photograph in the area specified.
2. If any Information regarding your Personal detail is missing, then you have to fill/Edit in BASIC INFORMATION ICON (Refer Student Control Panel showing in Step-2) and then Reprint your Examination Form.
3. Manual Cutting/Over Writing on Examination form is not allowed your form is liable to be rejected.
Step-8 If all Entries in examination form are correct then, you have to lock the Examination form by clicking on icon No.3 below,

and next windows will be open as below click on 1st option then above icon No. 1&3 will be hidden automatically. Congratulation your Examination is filled successfully !! you can print Your form anytime,



Note:- Examination fee is Rs.700/- per Semester and fee will be submitted in Institute in the form of Cash only. No form will be accepted in university directly, so the students are advised to avoid to submit the examination form in the university

In case of wrong entry of the subjects follow the following steps:
In case you forgot to select Int. or Ext. of a subject as shown right
Step1: Delete the entry from section B by clicking on delete Icon in the last column as shown right
Step 2: After deleting the wrong entry from section B, then you must select the correct entry in section A and add the correct subject(s) again.

Note:- The additional query may be submitted through your login and students are advised to avoid to submit the same enquiry again and again.

Subject: Submission of PTU Examination Forms for May/June,2010 Exam.

Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar, has given the schedule for submission of online examination forms for May/June,2010 Examinations.

Schedule for the submission of online examination Form

Examination Fee of Rs. 700/- per semester Regular Exam. Form Reappear Exam Form
Without Late Fee 19.03.10 to 01.04.10 05.04.10 to 15.04.10
With Late Fee of Rs.1000/- Per Semester 06.04.10 to 19.04.10 21.04.10 to 30.04.10
With Late Fee of Rs.2000/- Per Semester 20.04.10 to 03.05.10 01.05.10 to 07.05.10
With Late Fee of Rs.5000/- Per Semester with the permission of VC 04.05.10 to 14.05.10 08.05.10 to 14.05.10

Examination Fee has been increased from Rs.500/- to Rs.700/- per semester.

Students are directed to deposit the balance fee of Rs.200/- with College Cashier and then submit the examination form with Student Section alongwith receipt of examination fee between 11.00 A.M. to 1.00 P.M. and 2.30 P.M. to 4.00 P.M. on these dates.

Students User ID and Password has already been given to all Departments. Students are directed to get their User ID and Password from Departments.


Photocopy of Instructions regarding the filling of Examination Form is also enclosed herewith.

Note: The students who have not deposited the college fee, their examination form will not be accepted.
