| Research Interest | Research Area: Condensed Matter Physics: Theoretical and Computational Materials Science Materials Modelling and Engineering (DFT) Simulation Packages; Quantum ESPRESSO, SIESTA, VASP Research Interests: Using cutting edge theoretical and computational modelling, my research focuses on the engineering and prediction of innovative two-dimensional materials for a range of applications such as photocatalytic water splitting, optoelectronics, and solar cells. My current research interests are in the computational design of 2D materials and properties tuning through defects-engineering, phase-engineering, strain-engineering, electric field-engineering, and van der Waals heterostructures for nano-optoelectronics. |
