This Department was established in 1956. The mission of this department is to inculcate Sports Culture in the students of this College by making them participate in Routine Sports activities, preparing teams to participate in Punjab Technical University Inter-College Tournaments and organizing Tournaments at University, State and National level. The department has one of the best Sports Complex comprising of 400M Grassy Athletic Track, Gymnasium having latest fitness machines, Billiards room with one table along with Table Tennis & Wt. Lifting hall. The other Sports infrastructure includes Swimming pool, two Football, two Hockey, two Handball, two Kabbadi & one Kho-Kho grounds along with three Volleyball, four Lawn Tennis & one Badminton outdoor courts.

There about 150 Students come to Gymnasium in a day and in the Swimming Pool during season. At Present Dr. Gunjan Bhardwaj is Sec. Sports and Prof. Paramvir Singh Grewal is Jt. Sec. Sports.
